Maintenance Guide for The Dog Wash Station

Proper maintenance will keep your wash station in great condition for years to come

After each use, rinse the wash station with clean water to remove soap residue, dirt, and pet hair.

Wipe down the surface with a mild pet-friendly cleaner to prevent buildup.

Once a week, use an antibacterial cleaner to sanitize the station.

Periodically inspect the hot and cold-water connections for any signs of leaks.

Tighten fittings and apply Teflon tape if you notice any drips.

Regularly remove any hair or debris from the drain to prevent clogs.

Use a drain cleaner suitable for PVC pipes if necessary, but avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the plumbing.

Every few months, check the water feed hoses for signs of wear or damage. Replace them if you notice cracks or leaks.

Make sure the fittings are secure and tighten them as needed.

(For Outdoor Installations)

If the station is installed outdoors, disconnect the water supply and drain all water from the pipes before winter to prevent freezing and damage.
